A Double P Review: Well it hasn’t even been out for 24 hours and Nintendo’s first official mobile app has been a hit. Miitomo is a something only the minds over at Nintendo could come up with and be appealing to just about anyone who touches it. My phone has died twice in the last 24 hours because of this silly game/app. I’m not even going to attempt to explain what you are actually trying to accomplish in Miitomo but I highly recommend everyone download it and give it a go. The more friends you add to your experience with the game, the weirder and funnier it becomes.

Tenzin + The Spirit World

This scene is so important, and I don’t see it talked about much. One thing that I loved about the writing for this show is that Aang wasn’t a perfect Dad. Both Kya and Bumi outright resent Aang for all of the attention he gave to Tenzin, and all the pressure Aang put on Tenzin caused him to have his own identity crisis at the end of the season. I feel like a bit of this is all lost after season 2 (Toph’s poor parenting obviously takes the spotlight a bit), but I’m glad that they gave Aang and Katara’s kids their own set of parental baggage.
